Your Experience (Escape Rooms)
-
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your allotted time slot. If you are going to be late, please let us know as soon as possible. If you arrive after your booking time, we reserve the right to shorten your experience or cancel the booking.
-
We recommend that 10 years old is the minimum age suitable to play our escape rooms successfully.
Younger children may join a larger group with adults present (please see our child to adult ratios below)
When booking for a group of children, e.g. a birthday party, the children must be at least 9 years old.
-
All children must be accompanied by an adult or multiple adults when playing our escape rooms. Please see the following guidelines:
Under 10 years old: 1 adult per 3 children, to accompany the group inside the escape room(s).
10 – 12 years old: 1 adult per 4 children (2 adults needed for groups of 5+) to accompany the group inside the escape room(s).
13 – 14 years old: 1 adult per 8 children to accompany the group inside the escape room(s) at the host’s discretion.
15 – 16 years old: 1 adult present on the premises throughout the duration of the game – the adult may be asked to accompany the group inside the escape room.If your group has children of various ages, the lower age ratio applies.
-
As tempting as it may be to have a few drinks before your experience, we’d recommend saving the drinking for a post-escape celebration. You will need all your focus and brain power to enjoy your experience and be successful in the Escape Rooms. Your host reserves the right to turn you away without a refund if they believe you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
-
Two of our rooms feature a locked door, however if you need to leave the room at any time, you can let your host know and you are welcome to step out.
If you don’t manage to escape, don’t worry! Your host will meet you at the end of the game and open the room whether you’ve completed your objective or not.
-
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you can move around in easily. Although none of our rooms are extremely physical, we wouldn’t want you to ruin your best suit! We also recommend wearing flat, comfortable shoes.
-
Nothing! You don’t need to bring anything with you to play our Escape Rooms; just your team and your brains!
-
Anyone can play our escape rooms! All of our rooms are suitable for families, groups of friends, or work colleagues and are perfect for celebrations, team building or a fun day out.
-
Currently, our Escape Rooms are not fully accessible. Our largest room, Crown Jewels Heist, is partially accessible and has some areas that are big enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
If you would like further information please call us on 01753 866266.
-
Please refer to our Parking page.
-
None of our Escape Rooms are scary. Area 51 is atmospheric and Caved In can be intense as it is a smaller room.
Outdoor Experiences - Magic Portal & Operation Mindfall
-
Yes, younger children (under 10) are better suited to Magic Portal as it is not too difficult.
Operation Mindfall is suited to children and adults and it can be more challenging.
Groups under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
-
You can book slots online through our website, or over the phone 01753 866 266 -
Your experience will be outdoors so dress for the weather. You will be walking no more than 2 miles. -
Yourself and your team! That’s it. We provide an iPad & ActionPack which we show you how to use. -
We recommend 2 – 4 players play the game. You are welcome to bring more players but not everyone will be able to see the iPad screen, and therefore may not get maximum enjoyment. We will be adding the option for two teams to play against each other in the future.
-
Yes, under the circumstances we feel it is extremely important we thoroughly disinfect the equipment after the game. -
We recommend Magic Portal for families. There are clues of all difficulties in the game, but there is also a handy hint system if you get stuck. Operation Mindfall is more challenging but can still be completed by novices to escape rooms.
-
We have updated our T&Cs to allow you to postpone your game indefinitely if you or someone you have been in contact with has fallen unwell. -
Yes, if you are under 16 you must have an adult present during the game. This is for your own safety.
